SUZANNE W ALLY in San Miguel de Allende
Suzanne moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in March of 2020, bringing with her two suitcases and leaving all her paintings and art supplies behind in Ohio, USA. She rented a sweet little casa within the lovely grounds of the Hotel Quinta Loreto in Centro next to the Artisan's Market and began furnishing the casa with furniture she purchased from local craftsmen and then textured and painted in the colors, textures, and methods with which she has been experimenting since the seventies.
Inspired and empowered by the gentle vibrance of Mexico, Suzanne continues the journey to discover and express herself in paint on locally made panels, furniture, and found objects.
Her husband Harry recently moved studio into Suzanne's casa where they confer, collaborate, and sometimes paint together as they listen to jazz.
Suzanne and Harry are taking the opportunity provided by the pandemic to experiment with ways to virtually connect people and art. Please join our email list for informative and interactive videos and activities. We'd love to hear from you.
